My Story

Let me start off with My Story. My Mom is very into Essential Oils. A friend introduced them to her and she was hooked! My sister uses them as well. I was mildly interested. Two years ago, she gave me an introductory kit for Christmas that included ten basic oils. I picked out the one that I knew how to use- lavender- and put it in my diffuser that a friend had gifted me. 

I loved diffusing lavender to help my five kiddos- including 4 boys- be calm and happy. Three of my kiddos have a lot of energy- ok 4 of my 5 kiddos do- and lavender would help keep both them and me happy and calm and sleep well. 

Fast forward to just four months ago. My Mom came into town and invited me to go to an oil convention. My husband had off work so he could watch our toddler and so I went. At the same time I had been taking a new oil to solve a health issue for me. Conventional medicine was not working and I needed something else.

At the convention I was blown away! I was so impressed with how kind, sweet, friendly and above all normal everyone was. These people were amazing and I wanted to be a part of their group! 

Also, I was amazed with network marketing. I didn't know it could be an honest business where people grow, learn and are changed as well as helping others to grow, learn and change. And make money! At this point my husband had been out of full time work for two years. Our savings was used up and our retirement was being used up at an even faster rate. 

I was motivated.

The morning after the convention, I woke up with a prayer in my heart of whether I should do this oil business or not. As I got out of bed, my health issue had been completely resolved. I was astounded. Amazed. Not only that was this business for real, but that it's products worked as well. 

I was on board. 

I am excited to share Young Living Essential Oils with whomever may need them. I don't want to be pushy, or sales-y. I want to share openly and honestly what has helped me and my family and may help yours as well.
